Westward Ticket

I have forgone my westward ticket
and set up shop here. It is lonely
for now, but that's not the worst thing.
It's not worse than bad company.
Sometimes the owls hoot at dusk,
but I never have seem them fly.
With a little more coaxing, perhaps.
