Strangeness of the Ordinary

I suppose we should thank Wallace Stevens
for showing the strangeness of the ordinary,
though one wonders now whether strangeness
offers a home. Is the ordinary, home?
If it's not, I don't know what it is.
If it's not, is there anything more to say?
