I dreamed I was a woman
as she had an orgasm, and right away
understood it to portend a significance,
a real shift in the spiritual landscape.
It was on the day when I knew
I would see you, and you likely knew
you'd see me. Did you feel something too?
I was overcome with joy and peace,
like a dam of tension had burst,
and felt sure that this dam was yours. I had planned
to approach you that day, but did not
have the chance. Why this was revealed to me,
I don't know, but I hope that the change
was real. I hope you are free.

You seemed tired that day, and distant,
which would seem to confirm the ordeal.
