Sophia Again

Sophia, long have I searched in vain
for your hollow song, your dying fall, your wisdom
echoing through life and not in the mind alone.
But I will not give up. I cannot give up, for your song
is true, and I sing this to you in constant resonation.
There are green fields somewhere, at least in the mind,
and if in the mind, then at least in potentia vivified
in splendors of sense. There are ways to you,
this much is true, and I'll find them, for I
will not rest until I do.
