Worth Fighting For

I see darkness in her, and it saddens me
that she thinks she must bear it alone,
that she thinks there are none who would understand.
She craves dominance. She can be labile, histrionic,
cold-hearted. But somewhere in her
is strength, and she knows it, she hasn't
given up just yet. Her psychopathy may be
the passing of youth, a transition through pain
into strength...and I wish her bold courage
as she fights for herself. She is worth
fighting for.
