Heaven's Feigned Bliss

Shall I flutter off again,
into some unseen sky, the forbidden
reaches of heaven's feigned bliss?
There are many children there, not
accepting life's burdens, not
growing into full men and women, and yet
I must feel uneasy around them,
I must not allow their imaginary paradise
to pull me away from life's struggles.
