Bikini Preview

The bikini signifies repression
for men, as revenge for repression
of women. It says "You must look,
but you cannot touch." It exposes a woman entirely
except her erogenous zones, her sole sources
of vulnerability and connection. It says "I am
impervious to fucking." Is this the message?
Toxic femininity gives no solution to toxic masculinity,
and probably makes it worse. Just go naked.
At least then you remain honest, and free
from the violence of half-arousal, the seductions
of the dangling carrot.
Even a goddess can still be fucked
by a hero, and thus appears nude
in sculpture and painting.
The bikini says no forever.
The only possible purpose of her allure
is fucking and being fucked.
Has she turned sex to power
in a literal misreading of libido dominandi?
She will never be happy, having made herself
impervious to influence. Surely no woman
can want what these symbols mean.
We must love each other.
We cannot fight violence with violence
unless we intend to make everything toxic.
The struggle between men and women
will never allow total victory.
Let us fight gently.
