Make the Growing Things Grow

I cannot escape these mysteries, the deeper truths
of the unfolding universe, endless vibrations, the push
and pull of forgotten stars...we are all that we are,
and yet I find myself drawn skyward, toward
unknown secrets, awaiting investigation...

But out there are no roots, no nourishment
to strengthen bodies, to tie us down to each other,
in place and growing, forever growing, becoming
our stronger selves...

Is there some combination that synthesizes
mind and body? The wisdom of stars
brought down to earth, to make the growing things grow?
