I don't want to let go

I don't want to let go, because love
is more real than all other distractions,
and nothing else satisfies, nothing else
answers the call or fills in the deep longing
in quite the same way. Only love comes
to roost in the heart in a permanent way.
Only love breaks the day and lights the way home.
